Recommended needles:
Circular needles: 4mm (US 6) and 4,5 mm (US 7) in 40, 60 og 80 cm
Double-pointed needles: 4 mm (US 6)
Optional: A 4 mm straight needle for the Italian cast-on
Gauge:
20 sts x 28 rows in stockinette stitch on a 4 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm
20 sts x 23 rows in pattern on a 4.5 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm
Procedure:
First, stitches are cast on for the neck edge using the Italian cast on technique, and the neck edge is worked in a twisted rib. Then, the yoke is worked in the stranded pattern from the right side. Before the work is divided into sleeves and body, short rows are worked across the back of the yoke to create roominess and a good fit.
If you want a slightly less advanced project, a regular long-tail cast-on can replace the Italian cast-on. Just take care not to cast on too tightly. A regular bind-off can also replace the Italian bind-off
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout.
